To participate, we require that you live in an urban area and have
a reliable home Internet connection.
Assuming you are eligible to participate, we
will give you a choice as to how to run our experiments (both choices
require minimal effort on your part):
- You can run our experiments on a soekris box (a small machine
which runs Linux), which we will give you. It is already configured to
run our experiments; all you have to do is plug it in and connect it
to a router.
- You can run our experiments on your home computer. We
require that you use either Linux or OS X. Please see the Download page to get our scripts.
In both cases, there is no need to stick around while the machine
collects data; all of our code is automated.
