Defeating Censorship is Important


Free speech is a critical component of democracy.

The Web is an important facilitator of free speech, but censorship is increasing.

We are in an "arms race".

Some aspects of anti-censorship systems can be used for good or bad (e.g., steganography)...but the good outweighs the bad.
